A few days ago I sent out a quick little survey asking what you
really wanted from me. So far there have been over 1749 replies,
and the emails are still pouring in.

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the overwhelming
response.

WOW, but the shocking thing was that the majority of people wanted
more case studies about list building, SEO, and PPC.

Really, these are all the things that I do every day in my own
business to make money.

So today I’m going spill the beans about free traffic and reveal
some of my own Jedi traffic tricks.

Sound good?

Most “Guru’s” always talk about their successful sites, but very
few of them have the guts to really show them to you.

It seems they always talk about how they would get people knocking
them off if they did.

Personally, I think most of them are just totally full of B.S.

If your site is that weak, then you don’t need to be teaching
anything to anybody.

Have you ever thought the same thing?

I’m going to show you a site that has been on the first page of
Google for over 4 years.

See, I believe in building real business and not some lame
fly-by-night scam.

This allows me to sleep like a baby at night not having to worry
about the next Google Slap, Punch, Drop Kick, or Body Slam.

If you want to do the same then just clone my success.

Google this term:

My site GaragePlansPlus has been on the first page for over 4
years. Every once in a while it drops to page 2, but I can boost
it up overnight when that happens.

Yes, I know this site is about the most “dog ugly” site you will
ever see. One day I will get around to a makeover for it. I hope.

Now, if you want to get to the first page of Google then just
follow along.

It’s a 2 part formula for success.

PART 1 These are the things you have direct control over.

Step 1 – Get a keyword rich domain. Believe me, it works.

Step 2 – Make sure your main keyword is in your page title.

Example: Garage Plans | RV Garage Plans | Garage Apartment Plans

Step 3 – Make sure you use keyword rich meta tags. Forget about
what those so-called SEO experts say. Meta tags will help.

Step 4 – Make sure you use the main keyword in your H1 tags.

Step 5 – Use your main keyword in your image and alt tags. Also,
name your images after your main keyword.

Step 6 – Sprinkle your keyword throughout your page text and make
sure your links have your keyword in the anchor text.

Step 7 – Use the no follow tag to sculpt your link juice to your
most important pages. This is very important. Don’t overlook this
one step.

PART 2 These are things that other people control, but we are going
to stack the deck in our favor.

Step 1 – Run a ranking report to find out where your site ranks or
even if it ranks at all. Then do it on your competitor’s site.

Step 2 – Find all the sites that rank on the first page and then do
a back link check in Yahoo, Google, and MSN. Once you find out who
is linking to them, there’s a good chance they would link to you.

Step 3 – Contact the sites that are giving your competition links
and email them and see what it takes to get a link. This is also a
great way to build an affiliate army ;-)

Step 4 – Find Authority sites in your niche that will accept your
links. This is will give you a huge boost in rankings.

Step 5 – Find directories that will allow you to submit your site.
This is a great way to build massive one way links which are the
best kind to have.

Step 6 – Make sure you aren’t linked to any banned sites. This one
mistake will cost you dearly. One wrong link and you get
blacklisted faster than a Hollywood has-been.

Step 7 – Make sure that the people with whom you are swapping links
are still linking back to you. Some people play dirty and drop
your links after a few weeks. This way they build one way links
and give you the short end of the deal.

I just wanted to a few minutes to wish you a wonderful thanksgiving.-)

Today is the one day of the year we all sit down and give thanks for everything and celebrate life or at least we should.
I hope today you take time and find some balance between family, health, and making money!

Over the past 10 years I have struggled to find that balance and I can tell you it is a challenge and one that I face every day.

I have personally overcome disabilities, major health issues, losing everything and then becoming super successful in online and offline business, I can tell you the things we make important in life aren’t really that important in the overall picture.

If there is any advice I can give you today that is take my motto and put it to use in your life.
My personal motto and standard of life is “Everyday above ground is going to be a good day”

The Internet Is The Only Place Left.

The internet is wide open, full of entrepreneurial
opportunity and its one of the few markets left on
earth that allow someone to get involved at a very low
cost, and effectively compete with anyone in the business.

You see, just because you are bigger online doesn’t mean
that you will do more business per contact. You have just
as much of a shot at making money this year online as does
anyone else. What are you going to do with your shot?

Steps to starting your own online business:

1) Decide on a niche or theme. You want to decide on one
niche area or product to start with.

2) You must get a web site. You are not really in business
online if you do not have a web site. If you join a get
rich quick, put 5 dollars in or 1000 dollars in today and
you will get out double next week, you are not in business
for yourself. You must have your very own web site.

3) You must drive traffic to your web site. A web site with
no traffic is like a convenience store in the desert, but
100 miles from the nearest road. You may have coldest pop
around, but if no one walks through your door, you will
flounder. Same thing online. You must have traffic.

4) You must find out the needs of your traffic, and then
meet those needs. You can either create a product yourself,
or sell someone else’s product, but to genuinely operate in
profit online, you must meet the needs of the people who
visit your web site.

5) You must learn to convert the people who visit your web
site into purchasers of your product.

Do these steps one at a time. There is no sense in trying
to do step 5 before you have gotten step 4 going. You will
just frustrate yourself.

Watch out for headless chickens

If you have checked your email anytime in the past 48 hours I’m sure you have heard about the new FTC rules about internet marketing.

Most people are running around like a headless chicken screaming that this is the end of affiliate marketing and how the sky is falling.

And for some it is.

People are comparing it the ice age or the black plague.

While I’m over here jumping for joy & I’m as excited as a kid on Christmas eve. This has to be the greatest opportunity ever.

Now before you think I’ve had one too many “Red Bulls” let me explain myself.

There are a lot of so called “Internet Marketers” out there who are only telling half truths or even just out right lying about how easy it is to make money.

Just last week I was on a call with somebody who wanted me to promote his product. After looking at the site I was super impressed because this was the best looking site I had ever seen.

EVER!

The graphics were so clean and the proof of income was just out of this world. The Clickbank and PayPal numbers were insane.

Just the testimonials alone would make you buy this thing.

It was that good.

A little further along in the phone call he tells me that he doesn’t have a list yet and would I be willing to promote it.
Now for me this is a HUGE red flag.

I asked him how can you have this kind of proof and testimonials yet not have a list?

It didn’t even phase him when he told me that they just made everything up and that I would make a boat load of money if I would mail for it.

Needless to say I’m never going to promote it or anything like that.

“My integrity is not for sale.”

But the sad truth is that there are a lot of sites out there that can’t provide any real value to you and are only designed to separate you from your hard earned money.

No big surprise.

That’s what the new FTC rulings are designed to protect you from.

Now these headless chickens are running around screaming about how bad this is going to be.

Yes it’s going to be bad for them, because the FTC wants to give them a few fines and an all expense paid vacation in a “Federal prison Hotel” with some lonely roommates.

How can you benefit from this?

Now is the perfect time to have your own product and it’s going to be a lot easier to make money online if you provide value to your customers and you have the right systems in place to make it work like a well oiled machine.

I started to call this email “the death of affiliate marketing”

Hey, it’s me again.

I’m still getting over the swine flu so I haven’t had time to do a video for you yet. But I will.

Anyways let get to the meat and potatoes of this email.

I started to call this email “the death of affiliate marketing”.

But I’m going to save that for another day.

The truth is that the internet is still changing at an incredible rate. The basic things that worked 1 year or even 6 months ago don’t cut the mustard today.

Don’t believe me?

What was the last product you bought & did it work for you?

Hmmm.

I’m not physic but I can guess it didn’t work at all or at least not to the level you wanted.

The problem is that most people are still teaching how they made money years ago.

That’s great if this was 2008.

But its not, so what can I do to get some results?

Get on Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook today.

Now the key to making social media work is to just be yourself and don’t spam people with worthless crap.
Over the next few weeks I’m going to be taking you by the hand and doing everything in my power to get you ramped up with Social Media.

Today I want you to get the “Twitter Report” and take some time to read it and really think about where you want to take your business in the next month.
