A quick case study about getting traffic…

A quick case study about getting traffic, building your list, making some sales, and testing your product.

How to use the warrior forum to your advantage.

I created 2 hours of advanced “WordPress” videos at the first of the year. But I just never got around to doing much with it outside of my own list. There is never enough time in the day.

So how can I use this to make money, because you don’t make money unless somebody buys something.

This is what I did.

1. I posted a WSO on the warrior forum and just gave the videos away for free, no strings attached. Cost “$20”. I have had this post bumped 2 times at a cost of $20 each.

2. I then posted the WSO as a Digg story this morning and so far I have 17 Diggs. Cost “0” I did ask a few people to look at it.

So for a total cost of $60 I have gotten 40 comments about the product and over 1,900 views of the thread and around 771 signups.

So Big Stinking Deal?

I didn’t make any direct sales and spent $60 for a 771 signup?

So how do you make money if you just give your stuff away FREE?

The answer …….In the follow up sequence after you build your relationship with them.

See a pattern here?

I made these sales

4 sales for Jonny Andrews

6 sales for Tim & Steve at Commission Blueprint.

5 sales for my own product.

I have Craig Beckta, Dale Gale, Chris Freville, & Mike Filsaime all lined up in the follow-up emails.

By doing this it means everyday I’m going to get sales just for giving away free stuff.

Plus this works in any market you can find.

    Hi Charles,
I realize that the list building techniques you have in the case study are brilliant especially when you have expertise in an area.

I think the problem that most people including me is actually writing some great sales pulling and relationship building email copy.

Maybe you can set up and create a 52 week relationship and sales pulling email package that anyone can plugin to :)

    Thanks

    Hi George,

Building the relationship is the keypoint in using emails.

I use to struggle and spend hours working on a single email.

My turning point came after Scott Bradley gave me some killer advice about just write like you were talking to a friend.

What I do not is talk to myself and then write me emails based on what I just told myself.

Great info here Charles as always. The WSO marketplace is a highly targeted niche with plenty of opportunity seekers and people looking for that special “short cut”. Thanks.

For a long time I just blew off the WSO thing as a waste of time.

But one day I just did it to see what kind of results I could get.

I think that WSO are one of the best kept online secrets

What is WSO? How about a video that starts from scratch to present. Code breaker has some wonderful links like codes for websites, banners, etc. Awesome. Some of this other stuff seems to cater to the person that is about a 5 on a scale to 10. There are so many links, buy this, buy that that it would be great to have a straight path to shoot for for a total new online marketer. Thank you in advance. Charles has a great program, just wish it was a bit “first grader” friendlier.

    Hi Susan

A WSO is a warrior special offer where you give people a discount on your product. There have been people that make 6 figures are year doing just WSO’s.

    Hi Charles,

Giving away “free stuff” is fine when you have “free stuff” to give away in order to “catch butterflies” (the customers out there flying around all over the place looking for a place to land).

What happens when you don’t have “free gifts” to dish out here and there? After all, struggling newbies do not have any “free” this or that they can afford to use in order to attract a potential customer, let alone the costs associated with this suggestion.

    Hi Jennie

That is the power of PLR;-)

I built a huge list in the “rose gardening” niche just by giving away PLR that I got from less then $10.00

Affiliate marketing is all about leverage.
