I just got back from a weekend of skimboarding
at the beach.

I always enjoy the beach but this weekend was
really cool because there were hundreds of
starfish in the surf at low tide.

When I first started skimboarding I can’t count
the number of times I busted my tail and how many
times I got laughed at.

But that changed one day when a 10 year old kid
walked over to me and started telling me everything
I was doing wrong and how I would never be able to
ride the board if I didn’t follow his advice.

I was thinking I didn’t ask for his advice nor
did I want it.

I had already spent boat loads of money learning
from some of the best in my area, what could this
kid teach me.

He didn’t even have a board with him, and mine
was really too big for him by all standards.

He grabs my board and tells me to just watch.

I knew he was going to totally wipe out in a
matter of seconds…

But to my amazement he goes flying down the beach
looking at me sideways weaving in and out of people
like a NASCAR driver to the finish line.

It didn’t take long before he was swamped by dudes
begging for his advice.

The one big thing that I remember him talking about
was “how could any of use expect different results
when we kept doing the same things wrong over and
over again”.

I think this advice rings true in internet marketing
now more than ever.

See most people are trying to make money the exact
same way as everybody else, and doing the exact same
thing.

How can you expect anything other than the same
results you have already been getting?

Well if you are really serious about taking control
of your own financial future and stop following the
