The Dude Behind The Curtain

Charles Kirkland is a walking, talking, networking blend of credibility and know-how. Raised in a working class family, he combined a tenacious work ethic and keen sense of curiosity that ushered him over one hurdle after another. Nearly thirty years after computer technology first became accessible to consumers, Charles has harnessed the marketing potential of the Internet, creating limitless income for himself…and sharing his formula for success with YOU.

After working in his grandfather’s construction business as a child, Charles managed to get his first computer and knew he was on to something, paying no mind to naysayers who told him, “He wasn’t smart enough to have a computer at his age” Unable to afford game cartridges (or an Atari like his friends!), he bought a book on programming and created his own games. Little did he know then that he had tapped in to technology that would shape his life and allow him to help countless others in the process.

Stricken with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in his late 20s, Charles was forced to quit his job at an engineering firm. Married and with a baby on the way, he continued to educate himself on the Internet while selling free-standing metal buildings on commission. That job, too, fell apart when he out sold even the boss and the company was back-logged with orders for three months. His worked himself out of a job, and his back-end commission went to the company, but he took away a great education in sales and marketing.

Broke and with nothing but time, Charles dove full force into Internet marketing, taking on all sorts of independent clients and making great money. Creating his own on-the-job training, he was selling everything from his own construction blueprints to canoes and doing SEO work for MLM companies and major casinos. Then he abruptly lost it all again when Google first entered the scene. As SEO rankings and traffic dropped, income disappeared and so did clients. After just six months, he was broke again.

With two children now Charles was determined to create a better life…and get his family out of their 600-square foot house. He found a job as a project manager for a State University and then as a drafting teacher for a high school. With flexibility to continue his online marketing work, and passive income from publishing house plans, he had got back up to speed on Internet Marketing. After one year, his PPC and SEO knowledge had him back in the game.

It wasn’t until he caught the attention of Keith Wellman and was selected to participate in his Million Dollar March that Charles even fully realized just how good he was at driving traffic and gaining rankings. That experience led to a partnership with Jeff Alderson on several projects that continue to endure. Virtually overnight, Charles went from an unemployed guy from South Carolina to enjoying his stature as an Internet Marketing Guru, rubbing shoulders with the best of the best.

“I’ve been broke and successful and broke and successful so many times,” says Charles, “that I just want to help other people to avoid the roller-coaster and just enjoy the climb. I can show people how to make the most amount of money in the least amount of time with the least amount of effort!”

If you want to turn your online income around or even
get it started you must follow these simple rules.

1. Product jumping. One of the biggest income killers
is buying every new product that comes along with some
fancy pants sales letter. The truth its probably just
like the last thing you paid $77 for.

2. Signing up for every “FREE SHINNY OBJECT ” you find
in exchange for your email address. Now you are going
to get even more offers for “USELESS STUFF”.
You probably already have enough stuff in your inbox
to last a few lifetimes.

3. Not following through. How many products have you
gone through 100%. You may already have everything you
need to succeed on your harddrive if you would just take
action and do it.

4. Not believing in yourself. If you don’t believe that
you can succeed online and create financial freedom then
nobody else is. You have to start believing in yourself
beyond a shadow of a doubt.

5. DIY. There is no way possible you can learn to do
everything online by yourself. With things changing
so fast you need to be able to out sources things you
don’t want to do. Get-R-Done

6 Setting goals. If you don’t have your goals written
out and read them every day then anything you accomplish
will be fine. Without written goals you are not even
going to get close to your potential no matter what you do.

7. Following A Bad System. There is no way at all you
are going to succeed if you aren’t following a proven
system that works and has a track record of working for
other people. Most of these hot new product launches of
the week have no real track record of working except for
the “Guru” who created it and his best “Guru” buddies.
I smell a “Guru Rat” here don’t you.
