Charles, there always is a story, isn't there? So, here's mine. For 30 years, I was one of the top people in corporate group travel, saw the world, was written up in trade magazines, opened my own company 20 years ago, when my son was educated and ready to become a great chef; my company did 2M in sales one year; and then 9/11 happened and I have struggled to get back to the top again. Not wanting to retire as I still have so much to do, such as earn enough to provide the best education for my son's 2 young children, ensure a retirement income to live the life I want to live and help young children who are unwanted or orphaned. So, I decided to check out the internet. I have not seen success yet and still believe this is the future and believe I can make it here IF I have a kind mentor who will guide me to success. If you are that person, Charles, reach out to me. I sure could use some guidance..

Ruth

Good move. I don't ever buy anything if I can't see it giving me a 200% ROI in the first month. That is the standard that I use.

Hi there Charles,

Just wanted to say I have been a subscriber of yours for a while now, but never knew your story. In the IM arena, a good story is paramount and yours is indeed inspirational.

You are the classic example of the saying "you get ought for nought!" I, too was brought up with the mentality that you have to work hard and persevere to reach your goals.

I was laid off last summer (becoming an early victim of the recession) and decided to beome a stay at home dad and build my online Business, rather than find another J.O.B which (as I had a well paid job) would not have paid anywhere near what I was earning.

It has been a struggle, as I was not computer literate. I could turn one on and read emails, write documents and work spreadsheets but that was about all!!

In the last year I have learned SO much and can now build websites and allsorts!!! I have also learned a lot from you, Charles along the way.

Your story, confirms that I was right to keep going through the struggle of the last year, as I know that success is just a whisker away.

Keep up the great work and thanks

Thank you Charles for sharing your story.
At times I thought I was looking in the mirror about growing up in construction as my dad was a paint contractor.
I ,like Mike,am a "Boomer" (61) and have basically the same needs as he does.
You bring Joy and brilliance to the affiliate marketing community.
Please keep those wonderful ideas comming.
Thank you,Thank you,Thank you !!!

I appreciate the self made man. My late husband was such a man. He was a consummate programmer and very efficient and accurate tech as well as very successful on the casino sites.

Now that he is gone, I am trying to find my way on the net. I am trying to forge an online business myself. I hope that I have seen the last of the horrible scams I fell victim to in the first few years on the net.
I intend to go on a my own path soon. I intend to implement all the PLRs and ebooks that may be helpful to some one; that are collecting dust on my hard drive. Some of them may just be the thing to give away free or sell. We shall see.

I do not intend to purchase anything else that I know I won't ever utilize. My hard drive is way too full of things that don't seem to work very well...the type of things people scoff at that people buy. I have also decided to get into contributing into JV's hopefully next month.

I know that I soon will be successful because I know some things now that I didn't two or three years ago.

Thanks for your honesty Charles! :)
