Working a full time job, day in and day out, with
little to show for it can be extremely
frustrating.

Most people are forced to live on a set salary,
with little opportunity to earn more. This is why
an increasing number of consumers are beginning to
think outside of the box and sell their own
products online.

However, many consumers don’t know where to begin.
Most people are unsure of how to create their own

product or want kind of product they could even
create. What these people don’t know is that much
of what the need is inside their head.

What Kind of Products Should You Create?

The best products to sell online are information
products. Information products include guides,

ebooks, tutorials, and videos that share knowledge
and information with others.

The best part about these kinds of products is
that most people already have the knowledge they
need to create an informational product.

Almost everyone is knowledgeable in a subject
that would interest others.

Selling information products is also easier than
selling most material objects.

Informational

products can be downloaded straight to a
customer’s computer. This means that each customer
will receive their purchase instantly, instead of
waiting for the product to be shipped to their
home.

This eliminates shipping costs, for both the buyer
and the seller, as well as significantly
simplifies the selling process.

Vendors will never need to worry about a physical
inventory and they will only need to create their
product once.

Another great thing about information products is
that after their creation, they will earn the
seller passive income indefinitely. These products
only need to be created and promoted, in order to

begin earning income. Once the seller has created
their product and begun marketing, they will only
need to put in enough effort to maintain the
popularity of the product.

Because selling information products is fairly easy
for an experienced seller, it is possible to sell
multiple products and earn multiple streams of
passive income.

How to Choose a Profitable Topic:

Once you have decided to begin selling information
products, you will need to decide what information
you will be selling.

You will need to choose a profitable topic, without
choosing one that is extremely competitive.

If your topic is too broad or too popular, you will

Even if what you are offering is better than other

need to be creative. Consumers have a lot of
options, so it is important to stand out.

Even if you choose a unique, profitable topic, if your
product is of a low quality, your success and profits will
suffer.

If you create an ebook that offers nothing
of value to the customer, you can be sure that you
will be bombarded with requests from unhappy
customers that want their money back. The last
thing that you want is your customers telling their
friends and family how terrible your product is.

Taking the time to create a great product on a topic that
you know well, will pay off in the long run.

Choosing a topic that you are already familiar
with will also make creating your product easy.

If you are passionate about a topic, it will be easy to
tell others all about it. Consider writing about a
hobby, interest, or experience that will benefit
others.

Also, make sure to choose a topic that you

would want to read about. The more people that are
interested in a specific topic, the bigger your
potential customer base.

Turning Your Ideas Into Marketable Products:

Once you know what you want to create, you will
need to know how to put your plan into action.

Unless a person is a computer whiz, it is likely that
they have no idea how to create an ebook or video
that they can sell.

Fortunately, there are many different programs and
tutorials that you can purchase to help you.

Many of these programs offer templates
and step-by-step directions that will guide you
along the way.

While most people would rather create their
product for free, this probably won’t be possible
for most.

Just as with most ventures, it takes money
to make money. Investing in a good guide will help
you create a product that you can be proud of, as
well as one the sells well.

How To Begin Selling Your Products and Earning a
Passive Income Stream:

Once you create a product, you will need to learn
how to market your product.

If you simply create your product and just hope
that customers stumble upon it, you will be greatly
disappointed with your results.

Creating a great product is only half the
battle. Effectively marketing the product is just
as important.

Fortunately, most guides that teach you how to
create an information product will also teach you
to promote the product after its creation. If you
choose not to market the product, it is possible
to pay to have the product marketed.

However, most sellers prefer to market their own
products, at least until they know their product
is profitable.

Fortunately, when learning how to create
information products, you can begin expanding your earning
potential and accumulating passive income streams
that are just as, if not more profitable, than your
full time job.

My first thought was, “GREAT, just what the IM space needs is another lame product launch…to go along with the other 2 zillion launches in the last 6 months.”

At this point I’m going through my mental checklist of what’s included in an average product launch.

*1. Lame product that is hiding behind “Blind Copy” and unbelievable ClickBank screen shots. (Check)

*2. A product so lame it could only be sold using “Blind Copy” because if you knew how bad it really was there would be no way you would EVER buy it. (Check)

*3. Some guru hiding behind some fake pen name so he doesn’t spoil his lily white reputation. (Check)

*4. Sales copy that is so hyped that I should expect a 50% plus refund rate. (Check)

*5. The ability to make 96% of my list stop opening my emails because they think I have sold out. (Check)

*6. 341 stupid exit pops because somehow I made a mistake trying to exit the first 340 exit pops. (Check)

*7. The ability to win yet another HD TV. If the FedEx man wakes me up another Saturday morning dropping off a TV, there is going to be trouble! (Check)

So after going through my mental checklist I said,

“Thanks, but no thanks.”

I already have enough bad karma points to last a few lifetimes.

Then he showed me the product and the sales copy and that changed my mind.

* The sales copy actually spells out what the product is about.

Kind of refreshing.

* They only have 1 exit pop.

* The product is designed for people who aren’t yet making $3K per month. It is a solid product that will really help you make more money! You don’t see that every day.

The gurus behind it are putting their real names on the product so they have some skin in the game.

So, with that said, I actually want to promote a product for a change.
