We have exchanged Emails for some time and I have received gifts from you. It is very difficult to expalin where I am in life. After a sudden illness from which I have recovered has resulted in a total loss. Even loss of my freedom and my way of life. Hospital to recoup facility where I remain due to lack of funds to return to the community. Movement is restricted so I cannot use any of my resources except this computer I managed to purchase. I have some experience on the net but not doing very well. I need to follow you to success. Please give me directions on how to do that. I have time and a low budget.
Whilst I knew that the subject line was not true I still opened it as you were one of the people I looked to for good advice
Sadly I’m inclined to agree with Allen, reputations are hard won and quickly destroyed with this kind of action
Luckily there has been some return to more ethical marketing in the last few weeks of this year

But I HATE emails that falsely tell me lying crap like the one you emailed me –
“Congratulations:You got an affiliate sale!”
that is beneath you brother – Stop it please!

WOW, I only sent this out to around 5K as a test to see if these subjects really work.
These are not the type of email subject lines I use. But I wanted to see if it could get the click.
That is why I have you going to a blog post where you can’t buy anything.
But so far the results are very disturbing to me. I also did a small media buy that had the same subject line and email.
I don’t condone the use of these types of subject lines.
But both emails got about 248% higher email open rates.
Now that I could expect, but the click rates were 571% higher in only a few hours then most emails have in a 24 hour time frame.
These numbers are averages of the 2 mailings that were sent.
So the sad truth is this works.
I’m not going to use this again, but it will work if you need a spike in your open rates. That is also why I only mailed it out to 5K and did the media buy to test it with.
You are going to see a ton of marketers using this same subject line and email for a launch on Tuesday.
My only advice is for you to really think about whose interest are they looking out for.
I sent you to a blog post were you could not buy anything. Tuesday at 11am you are going to get people sending you to a sale page to buy for real.

Hi..these so called money making schemes have left a very bad test in my mouth..It seems that people have to buy these (games)online money makers to even get an actual response before they even talk to you…I have asked many times to either have an email sent for a basic response from customer support not just from this online (biz) but from others as well and got (NOTHING)..I would ask them (PROVE) me wrong and leave (my phone number, address, my name COUNTLESS times and why i would need join the parade if you can make the money they claim and yes i have read the disclaimers but the emails i send are returned right back and i did actually get through to one REP asking the THE PERSON WHO IS SELLING THIS CRAP WHY DONT THEY EVER RETURN AN EMAIL OR CALL!..so i leave with this…please put up and show me the money or it it will keep going right where it belongs..(IN THE JUNK MAIL!!!!!!..GOOD LUCK EVERYONE….
This email reminds me spammers trying the subscribers to open emails sent by them . But with fictitious program mes.

So tell us what you have bought and how many times have you been 100% through any program?
Also how many things have you put into action.
When I first started PPV marketing I went through loosing over 25K in my first 2 months before I made 1 cent.
Most people would have given up long before that. But now I do over 1K per day just with PPV/ CPA offers.
Also you have to understand it takes time or money to get things going.
Which one are you will to put up?

I agree with Scott and Karen also with what the rest of these guys are saying, no one and I mean NO ONE likes to be deceive, we get junk in our inboxes everyday, everyone would like to make sales and there’s is enough for everyone to go around, but if your resorting to cheap tricks and spamming your list, you’ll kill everything that you have built thus for, PLEASE PROVIDE VALUABLE CONTENT before looking for any type of sells, you don’t need to e-mail me fifty times a week if your content is good I’ll come back on my own, but if your just looking for sells forget it not happening, I run a business also as many other here has posted, I provide the best infomation possible and let my reader make informed decision as which way they preceed.

But l have to agree, with some of the other posts, l almost unsubscribed, after reading the “congratulations, you have a sale, etc.” line.
It works so well because there are a lot of IM,s that are struggling to make money.
I have a profitable product, and sign up, that l just need traffic to make it take off, and l still get excited about a line like that thinking that l got another sale.
