Charles, I have purchased a couple products and was disappointed. Basically they just were designed to be an affiliate for that product. I would put in the effort to learn but I guess I am a bit afraid of spinning my wheels and losing money. It seems that there are so many people doing this and that to be so inexperienced would make it tough to make a living. I don’t need to make 10K a month like these programs all promise but if I want to make a living would need to make 4 to 5K a month to survive. I may go back to the working world soon but getting a low paying job does not excite me either.
I’m new in the internet and don’t know how to start . I will like to learn affiliates programs but I don’t have softwares and don’t know how to use them.
What is your favorite way to build a relationship with your subscribers to that they will buy products that you recommend?

I have been working on “internet marketing” for over a year. I started down the eBay route and realized that was not for me (although many people make lots of money with it).
I have a good computer background and am fairly techie, so I am comfortable building websites (I love WordPress), and all that side of it.
My two biggest problem areas are:
1.) Getting to a level of making a full-time income. I make $300-500/month pretty consistently, but can’t seen to get past this.
2.) Doing everything myself. I don’t have the funds to outsource much (yet). And have not really even tried. But I need to know how to manage my time and where I should be concentrating my efforts.
I am slammed with emails every day which eats up a lot of my time. I am slowly getting it down to where it is taking me less time to get through them but still that is the number one problem and it is exhausting.
I have products that I have bought that I haven’t gotten to, and I am anxious to, but the problem I am finding is that it is a slow process putting these things together. There is just so much to learn and everything just moves too slow.
I am concerned about doing blogs and articles as my mind goes blank when I want to think of an idea that I would like to pursue in doing blogs and articles.
I know I could use mentoring but right now I can’t afford it.

My wife is very angry at my spending more than I am earning after almost one year into internet marketing. I still have to learn how to set up something in my website – say, a special offer or a free gift – and make a corresponding set up in my GetResponse autoresponder. In the meantime, i promote as an affiliate, mainly thru email blasters. I know I should do article marketing, but haven’t done so yet. I have thousands of optin leads from various sources, but those are not acceptable to GetResponse, and I don’t know how to make use of those leads. Heeelllllpppp!

Hi, I have been dabbling with internet marketing on and off for the last 6 years. After a car accident at the young age of 19 (I am 33 now) and 6 major neck & back surgeries (4 Artificial Disc Replacements in my neck and one ADR on top of a fusion in my low back and both SI joints fused!) I wanted to have a way to make money, laid up or not…
During this time I was not able to work as a photographer or anything else that involved walking, standing, or holding anything. So that’s when I started reading EVERYTHING I could about making money from home. I decided to invest in some resell rights and private label rights e-books and software, all with mini sites, you know, the whole shabang. Every time I saw a good deal on some I bought it, but every time I tried to get them uploaded to my site I would run into one roadblock after another. I always ended up searching the internet for solutions but I never found exactly what I needed. Now I have 2 hard drives FULL of products collecting dust and nothing to show for it. If I could afford it I would out source it all.
FINALLY, MY QUESTION TO YOU IS…….
Can you show me, on video, how to:
#1 Upload more than one product to C-Panel so they each have their own address to advertise and send leads too.
#2 Show me how to, quickly & easily, modify the sales pages so they don’t look like everyone else’s sites who bought the rights to them too.
Thank you for offering to do this. I really do not want my collection of more than 1400+ products to go to waste!!

Well, I have no site, no product, and it seems that way I can not even be an affiliate.There might be some good coaching programs good out there, but I can not afford them.If your programs are guaranteed why not give them for free and take a fee on the process, while we begin to earn ? That is holding me back.

Without getting into to much history, I’m confused about the whole process, from establishing a web site and product, to marketing and keeping up with the business. So I need to understand the specific steps needed to set up an online business, market it, fine tune it, and how to adjust and improve what is not working, and keeping my targets engaged in this process. Hopefully, you will put together a system to help me and many others who really need to understand this process and opportunity.

I have spent thousands of dollars on varies Internet Businesses and have not made a dollar online as of yet. I have files which required WinZip to open and once I have them opened I don’t know what to do next. I guess what I’m saying is YES I need your help. I have my own product on clickbank, but I obviously do not know how to promote it or to get other Affiliates to promote it for me. Also, how in the world do I get people to visit my site? I have ebooks on the site, plus I have some good ideas on the “Going Green” theme, but getting people to my site is a mystery to me. Also, the only place I’ve ever made money on line is ebay (a few dollars) and a lucky online casino site that I made $1100 from. Other than that it’s been slim pickings for me. I have been looking for a TRUE step by step method to making money online. I have purchased products in the past that stress they are step by step; but they always leave something out. A system should be duplicable-everyone who follows the program and TAKES ACTION should get the same results. Obviously that is not happening on a consistent basis or you wouldn’t have so many people responding to your email message!!

After reading all of the above posts, I guess I can just say ditto to many of them. Been there, done that.
Many hours of frustration, many dollars wasted on products not used (and, no, they were NOT scams, as so many want to believe, rather just not what I NEEDED or expected).
And, yes, I even have your SocialMoneyMagnet, and it DOES work as promised, however, I have not gotten to the point of being able to focus on one direction to utilize it.
Long story short, there is so much hype about making a gazillion dollars in 3 months that no one is really concerned about helping newbies really learn how to get focused on actually BUILDING A BUSINESS.
I don’t need that kind of money yet. I need to LEARN TO EARN first.
So many have never even made that first dollar, yet are continually buying products that teach how to make millions.
We are minnows lost in the vast GURU’S ocean, and really don’t know which is the simplest way to get focused and stay on track. Which is something that I intend to focus on in a project I have in mind – IF I EVER GET GOING MYSELF.
I actually already have the domain and have had for a year or so, just for that purpose. Looked ahead on that one.
However, most, like myself, cannot afford even a decent coaching program, which i do believe is a major factor in getting off the ground. We don’t have the unlimited credit on our M/C’s or Visas. If we did, it might be a little easier.
So we lose focus just trying to find that one key that will help us get STARTED!
I have actually made a few dollars, but nothing consistent, and it was mostly just luck, I think. There was nothing I could track it back to that was consistent so that I could say “hey, this works”!
So, I guess my main holdback is staying focused on one thing until it really does work, partly due to the fact that I have NO ONE to hold me accountable. This might not be others’ problem, but it is a big one for me.

With that said, I actually have some good ideas, or so I think, but I’m not the one to implement them by myself, not yet, not at my level.

After a number of years of seeking something I can work with I have had little or no success. You mention maxed credit cards, Yeh am there seriously. I sign up for something and then either find out it is just a scam or become disheartened with it after a short while because it doesn’t offer what was promised or once getting in then find they want more and more money from you.
I am currently seeking something that can be started for next to nothing and built, at least initially, using free advertising sources. In fact I would like to see an opportunity where you can join for free then use free advertising and lead capture sources to start building a comission. Then the cost of joining could be taken from that comission to enable memberships and upgrades, but only once it has been proven to me and my downline that this is a truly workable profitable business. I would not expect to receive any of the commission until the upgrade/membership fees have been taken out of it.
This would be sort of a litmus test to show my downline that this is worthinvesting their time and effort into.

From what I am reading you certainly have your answers as to what is holding us back, lol.
I too have been doing this a few years now and find all the information overwhelming to the point of not knowing which direction to go in. I know from past experiences that affiliate marketing does work but if you don’t have your own list then you have to buy traffic. If your not good at writing then article marketing is not lucrative and only takes time away from marketing. Also I have found that in order to do the article writing effectively then you need a seperate page for each one and for those that do not have their own web site it becomes impossible as an affilate link will not get the same traffic and of course google will not list them.
Like at lot of the others I have bought program after program and it seems they tell you how to get there but forget to tell you HOW you would achieve that. (do you know of any good places to sell all these programs to re-coup my money without it costing me)
For the most part I have mastered uploading programs, landing pages etc to my website. I actually built my website myself and have changed it may times now. I have taken the adivce from the other gurus that you need your own website and an autoresponder but I have yet to discover just how to get the traffic and to tie them in together for the so called “auto pilot”. I need someting to support myself NOW and would need a really inexpensive coaching program. Most of us do not have $2000.00 or more for a coaching program.
I have often wondered why some of these so called “gurus” don’t really step up to the plate with their millions and offer a pay on performance coaching. If I had that kind of clout that is exactly what I would do. Pay this small fee now and in two months or so a percentage and the remainder when their coaching talent has actually made you some money!! I am sure there would be a few bad apples out there that would not pay but I think most people would pay to continue if there is real value in it. If someone got me to the point of even making $5000.00 per month I would gladly pay for the coaching.

I’ve been struggling for about 6 months and I have already spent a little fortune on Home Bussiness products; I have already spent a lot of cash on Google Adwords with no results. I have to admit that I’ve been ripped off. Most of the products I bought were old information (some e-books were from 2007 and later I read that Internet changes in matter of months), showed incomplete process or were a total scam.I’m suscribed to many list and I receive information from many so called “gurus”and I’m in the process of unsuscribe myself from most of them.

All these “Gurus” have made money on the backs of all of us..,they promise you alot give you little or give you only 75% of the info and have stung us for the privilige of 75% knowledge..(which is where the Funnel) comes in further large payment or monthly installments..for further info…Again no real guarantee we will be “Guru’s” in a few years time.

I am really enjoying reading all your articles on this blog. Thank you for sharing such good information.
I am comforatable with blogging, the concept of ppc (although I have not used it yet), writing quality articles for traffic and the basics of how to drive traffic.
Where I fall down is the technical aspect. I have squeeze pages (plr material) but no idea how to edit the squeeze page and thank you page to place it on the web.
I even have trouble creating an opt-in box. For the blog, I have a widget and I also use aweber’s box, but for my other webpages, I am stuck.
In all the training I have taken, people say “just put up your squeeze page” or “you have to capture visitors addresses”. I understand the concept of why….just get very stuck on the how.
So definiately I could use a step by step beginner technical course.

You are stuck were about 99% of everybody else is…which is goode because I can fix that for you. You need to get a WUSIWUG editer. Like Frontpage or Dream Weaver, or even just download some of the free ones. Once you do that come back to the blog and I can show you what to do from that point.
